Dhaka, Sep 18 (V7N) – The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has seized 15 kilograms of shisha during a special operation at two shisha bars in Banani on Wednesday evening.

The raid, which began at 7:30 pm, targeted Al Gesino and Habana shisha bars. By the end of the operation around 10 pm, officials confirmed the seizure of the narcotics along with related materials.

According to AKM Shawkat Islam, Additional Director of the DNC, a total of 10.5 kg of shisha, 10 packets of coal, and various smoking equipment were recovered from Al Gesino. Meanwhile, 4.5 kg of shisha was seized from Habana.

During the operation, DNC officials arrested two individuals, identified as Miraj and Rizvi, from Habana shisha bar. A case is being prepared against them under the Narcotics Control Act.
